MONT 614 Mont Meth: Elem Biol & Phys Sc
An overview of the 6-9 Montessori science curriculum, with an emphasis on the biological sciences. Topics include classification of chordate and nonchordate animals, botany, anatomy, ecology and the physical sciences. Integration of science topics into the elementary curriculum, with particular focus on writing and research will be covered. A graduate level research component is required. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor. Three credit hours.
