BA 492 Bearcat Consulting

This applied consulting course gives students hands-on experience working with real clients through the School of Business’s Bearcat Consulting office. Students collaborate with local businesses, nonprofits, and organizations to address challenges across accounting, finance, marketing, operations, and strategy. Projects may include financial analysis, process improvement, market research, branding, digital marketing, or creating promotional and video content. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving, professionalism, effective communication, and project management. Under faculty guidance, students engage in client meetings, develop actionable recommendations, and deliver final reports or creative assets, gaining practical skills that prepare them for careers in consulting, management, entrepreneurship, and other business fields. Three credit hours.
