BIOL 306 Ecology

This course is a study of the relationships between organisms and their environment. Topics will include population dynamics, community interactions, and ecosystem processes. Laboratory and field exercises provide experience with experimental design in ecology as well as data analysis and interpretation. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory weekly. Prerequisites: MATH 211, "C" or better in BIOL 111 or BIOM 111, and "C" or better for either BIOL 213, BIOL 214, BIOL 303 or ES 265. Four credit hours.
