COM 491 Off-Campus Internship
This internship course is designed to give the student practical work experience under the supervision of a professional. The internship requires that students work through an approved agency, business, organization, or academic environment under the supervision of one of its professional employees and a designated professor. Suitable positions determine availability of internships. The course may be repeated for no more than six total credit hours toward the Communication major. Prerequisites: Junior/senior standing and a minimum 3.0 institutional GPA or instructor permission. One to three credit hours.
