CRIM 101 Introduction to Criminal Justice
This course is an introduction to the U.S. criminal justice system. It provides an overview of the roles, functions, and interactions of the three central institutions within the criminal justice system: law enforcement, courts, and corrections. Attention is also given to how each interfaces with the community. Other topics may be covered, including, but not limited to, contemporary issues, criminal justice reform, and re-entry programs. Three credit hours.
