This course will provide students with theory, research and methodology related to appropriate and effective science instruction. Emphasis will be on the development of science knowledge in primary-age children and the application of methods for teaching science that support the meaningful integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the context of real-world problem solving. Three credit hours.
