ECED 405 Children and Families
Students examine family and community life historically and cross-culturally and its influence on the development of young children. Emphasis is placed on the changing American family and the effects on schools. Strategies for effective parenting and educational interventions for working with young children and families from a variety of cultural settings are included. Three credit hours.
