ENGL 351 Approaches to Teaching Writing

This course introduces theory and practice in the teaching of writing in various contexts, including K-12 classrooms, writing labs, writing centers, and other educational venues. This course will explore principles of writing and writing instruction, including writing as a social and rhetorical act of composing knowledge. Prerequisite: ENGL 102 with "C" or better. Three credit hours.
