ENTR 201 Principles of Entrepreneurship

This course introduces students to the principles and practices of starting, growing, and managing innovative ventures within the free enterprise system. Emphasizing both theory and hands-on learning, it explores the entrepreneurial process from opportunity recognition to venture creation and growth. Students will develop skills in entrepreneurial management, strategic thinking, creativity, and innovation. Key topics include business models, lean startup methodology, and lessons learned from both successful and unsuccessful ventures. By the end of the course, students will understand the language of entrepreneurship and gain the practical tools needed to turn ideas into viable business opportunities. Three credit hours.
