HUS 201 Introduction to Human Services
This course offers a broad overview of the profession of human services. The course introduces students to the values, skills, and knowledge required to provide services to assist others in a variety of settings and areas, such as aging, child welfare, corrections, crisis intervention, disabilities, mental health, and substance abuse. Prerequisites: ENGL 101 and one of the following: PSYC 101, PSYC 102 or SOCI 101. Three credit hours.
