NURN 340 Health Assessments for RNs
This course includes nursing theory and practice in the comprehensive health assessment of individuals across the life span that builds on the nurse's knowledge of life and behavioral sciences, basic assessment, clinical manifestations, and communication. Emphasis is placed on data collection and the application of concepts and skills used in the comprehensive assessment as a basis for critical thinking, health promotion, and disease prevention. Prerequisites or co-requisites: NURN 307, or instructor permission. Three credit hours.
