NURN 417 Community Nursing
This course incorporates nursing theory and practice in the holistic care of individuals, families, and groups in the community requiring primary, secondary, or tertiary nursing interventions. Epidemiology, health promotion, community assessment, and public health concepts are incorporated into the course. The focus is on care delivery in diverse community settings. Prerequisite or co-requisite: NURN 3307 or instructor permission. Four credit hours.
