HIST 341 Wildlife and Wilderness: A History of American Conservation
The course explores the American conservation movement beginning in the 1850s and the efforts of individuals and the government to protect game and predator species as well as our natural spaces. Emphasis is placed on the social and political struggles, and ecological policies that shaped the American landscape and mindset. Three credit hours.
