MUSI 401 Form and Analysis

This capstone music theory course explores the basic forms used in classical music, techniques for identifying the function of each phrase, theme, or section in a piece, and the analysis of complete works of music. Forms include binary, ternary, sonata, variations, and refrain forms. Prerequisites: “C” or better in both MUSI 212 and 214. Two credit hours.
