MUSI 214 Second -Year Theory Applic
Designed to be taken in conjunction with
MUSI 212, this course trains students to use symbolic representations to describe musical sounds, to sing music accurately from music notation, and to detect errors in a performance of music. This fourth semester of ear training focuses on performing cross rhythms and hearing chromatic chord progressions and melodies that tonicize or modulate to other keys. Prerequisites: “C” or better in
MUSI 211 and 213. One credit hour.
