MUSI 211 Second-Year Theory

This course develops students’ working knowledge of the materials and structures of tonal music through harmonic analysis and part writing, with a focus on diatonic harmony, modal mixture, and secondary dominants. Prerequisites: “C” or better in MUSI 112 and 114. Three credit hours.
