POLS 325 Int'l Conflict and Terrorism
This course focuses on conflict in world politics, specifically the study of war, the use of force, and terrorism. Topics include both interstate wars and civil wars as well as military transformations related to technology, weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), political violence, ethnic conflicts, and humanitarian disasters. The course also examines the modern science and technology of nuclear weapons since 1945. Junior/senior status recommended. (General Education - Global Issues and Cultures and General Education Electives) Three credit hours.
