NURS 242 Strategies and Techniques for Nursing Care
This course introduces fundamental nursing concepts and skills essential for providing safe, evidence-based, person-centered care across the lifespan. Students will develop clinical judgment, therapeutic communication, and proficiency in basic nursing interventions. Emphasis is placed on quality, safety, cultural sensitivity, and professional accountability, with a focus on experiential learning to strengthen nursing care skills. Prerequisites: “C” or better in
