NURS 417 Community Health Nursing
This course incorporates nursing theory and practice in the holistic care of individuals, families, and groups in the community requiring primary, secondary, or tertiary nursing interventions. Epidemiology, health promotion, community assessment, and public health concepts are incorporated into the course. The focus is on care delivery in diverse community settings. Prerequisites: "C" or better in NURS 392, NURS 408, and NURS 409. Three credit hours.
