SOCI 314 Social Welfare Pol & Programs

This course examines the history of social welfare, including the values, beliefs, and attitudes that have shaped social welfare in the United States. The course examines a variety of social issues and addresses political and economic factors that affect social welfare policy. Prerequisite: "C" or better in SOCI 101, and in either PSYC 101 or PSYC 102. Three credit hours.
