SOCI 398 Methods of Social Research
This course is an introduction to the logic and conduct of social research, relationships between theory and empirical evidence, formulation of hypotheses, conduct and analysis of field research, research design, and techniques for data collection and analysis. Prerequisites: "C" or better in SOCI 101 and MATH 211 and six additional hours of SOCI, CRIM, or HUS coursework. Prerequisites may be waived at the discretion of the instructor or chair. Three credit hours.
