NUR 612 Advanced Pharmacology

This course consists of an overview of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies with an emphasis on therapeutic uses of broad categories of drugs. The course explores variations in management of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities with diverse patient populations across the lifespan. An analysis of legal, ethical, policy, and cultural issues pertinent to the use of various pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies will also be explored. Prerequisite: Admission to the MSN program. Three credit hours.
