FINA 414 Financial Services Capstone

This capstone course serves as the culminating experience for students in the Financial Services program, integrating knowledge from previous coursework in finance, investments, banking, insurance, and financial planning. Students apply advanced financial concepts to real-world cases and projects that simulate professional decision-making in the financial services industry. Emphasis is placed on strategic analysis, ethical considerations, client relationship management, and effective communication of financial recommendations. Through research, presentations, and experiential projects, students demonstrate their ability to analyze complex financial situations, develop solutions, and apply professional standards expected of finance practitioners. The course prepares students for entry into the financial services field or for professional certification and graduate study. Prerequisite: “C” or better in FINA 301. Co-requisites: FINA 306, FINA 311, FINA 312, or FINA 313. Three credit hours.
