MUSI 113 First-Year Theory Applications
Designed to be taken in conjunction with
MUSI 111, this course trains students to use symbolic representations to describe musical sounds, to sing music accurately from music notation, and to detect errors in a performance of music. This first semester of ear training focuses on diatonic major-key melodies and simple-meter rhythms. One credit hour.
