MUSI 146 Introduction to Jazz Improv
Introduction to the language of jazz improvisation including nomenclature, chord progressions, scales, melodic development, transcription, and application to standard jazz repertoire. Prerequisite: Music major/minor or permission of instructor. Two credit hours.
