NURS 303 Nursing Research
In this course, students are introduced to becoming a consumer of research. Emphasis is placed on reading, analyzing, and evaluating research articles. Clinical problems are identified and evaluated as to whether clinical practice protocols are research-based. This course builds on the learner's previous experiences with problem solving and focuses on incorporating nursing research into nursing practice. Prerequisites: "C" or better in NURS 232, NURS 233, NURS 240, and NURS 242. Three credit hours.
