NURE 641 Technology, Simulation and Artificial Intelligence in Nursing Education

This course explores the use of educational technologies in nursing education, including learning management systems, simulation, and emerging digital tools. Emphasis is placed on instructional design, ethical use of technology, learner engagement, and evaluation of technology-enhanced teaching strategies in academic and clinical settings. Course content includes critical examination of the impact of artificial intelligence on teaching and learning in nursing education, including academic integrity, equity, data privacy, faculty workload, and unintended consequences for student learning. Prerequisites: B or higher in NURE 620. Three credit hours.
