NURE 690 Practicum I: Clinical and Simulation Teaching

This course provides supervised experiential learning focused on clinical and simulation teaching roles within nursing education. Students engage in instructional activities such as skills instruction, simulation facilitation, clinical supervision, and learner feedback. Practicum experiences include supervised engagement in advanced-level direct patient care activities that support clinical teaching, skill demonstration, and the development of clinical judgment. Emphasis is placed on integration of teaching strategies, professional communication, and reflective practice within educational settings. Corequisites or Prerequisites: NURE 641 and NURE 640; B or higher if a prerequisite. One credit hour.
